Lots of new things showed up this week.
Uberwench Merino Top in “Deadly Nightshade”. A gift from Mom and Dad. I can’t wait to spin this!
Lots from String Theory Colorworks (linky), I really love Caitlin’s stuff.
First her 100% merino base (Resonance) in “Kopernik’. This will be Dad’s Christmas Socks.
2nd, in the Photon base (it has sparkles in it, but they don’t photograph well) in “Magnesium”.
Finally the October club skein. It’s 100% SW Falkland (which I’m looking forward to trying) in “Binary System”.
The last of the new stash is another self striping skein. But one that is INSANE. Because it knits up to look like:
This is what it looks like in the skein:
Just like the sticky note says my BFL top (that I’ve been spinning for ages) plyed up to be 168 yards. It’s thick/thin but I think it averages out to be a chunky weight, maybe even an aran weight. Now I need to spin the next half!!!
