Really such an odd name for a sock. Definition (on pattern) says:
Graupel \grau-pəl\ noun
- precipitation that forms when supercooled droplets of water condense on a snowflake
On each sock I knit the entire foot in one day. The leg seemed to take ages. Knitting with cashmere was heavenly and I hope to do it again soon. The socks did end up being slightly different colours, there was more purple at the beginning of the skein, but you can’t really tell.
These were finished oh so long ago (April 17th). Details:
Yarn: String Theory Caper Sock -> Digeridoo
Other socks on the needles are all designed by Cookie A.
1. Maelstrom. My first pair of maelstrom’s felted 😦 in an Unexpected Laundry Incident. I cast on another pair in Dream in Color Smooshy in China town apple. I have nearly completed the right sock. Going slowly since it is my ‘at work’ project.
2. Mystery Sock for SKA. A mystery sock.
Fun and disconcerting at the same time. I’m working on both socks and both are on dpn’s, which is a nice change from ML. Using Fiberphile Merino Cashmere Nylon in Envy, love this stuff.

Clue 2 : released 05/08 completed 05/09
Clue 3 apparently has a very complex/large chart…. bring it. 🙂
